Dismantling the habituation of our daily lives through
immersive and introspective experiences.

ABOUT
Since COP24 in Paris, World Leaders have agreed to do everything in their power to ensure our global temperature does not exceed 1.5degrees increase by 2050. Since the start of the Industrial Era, the global temperature has risen by 1.2 degrees and has been significantly rising due to the direct impact of humans combined with natural global warming. Should we, as humans, not make necessary changes to the way we live on this planet, studies suggest global temperatures could rise by over 4degrees by 2075. Should this be the case, we will be dealing with more intense wildfires, heavier and more devastating rainfall, increased flooding, and shrinking coastlines.

By redefining the role of the visitor. We can, in turn, lead the visitor to a more active role of co-creation/co-production of exhibitions by interacting with the immersive environment and can help visitors take a central role within the exhibition itself (Muller, Edmonds and Connell, 2006; Popoli and Derda, 2020). Such highly digital immersive experiences, for example the Van Gogh experience can provide a three dimensionality and intensity to extend visual information and improve visitor learning.
