Throughout the exhibitions and York, utilising AR gives the visitor the chance to compare now vs years in the future. AR will be located round the city and logged on the app. By scanning certain QR codes near given York landmarks, they can ‘step into’ the future York as predicted.

This main effect would look at flooding in York or intense rainfall, as is our primary concern with Climate Change locally. Locations currently suggested are the Minster, The Shambles, Museum Gardens and St Helen’s Square. Working with students at both Universities working on VR and AR as well as involving tech-team New Moon Studios based in York.
