My final project for my Master's in Graphic Design led me down a truly inspiring path. I delved deep into the world of Climate Change and the effect it's having on our locality, York. Through intense research, deep-diving analysis and experimental design, I settled on a full 2 week exhibition proposal across York, educating locals and tourists on the impact of Environmental Changes in our area.

The Journey

Phase 1

Extensive research and building on ideas I am passionate about, I found myself deep in the research rabbit hole, learning more about Climate Change and the dramatic effects we're already seeing in our own world

Phase 2

Case Studies, Planning, Drafting - a hefty few weeks developing specific timings to complete our project within the given timescale - quite a feat considering I was drowning in research.

Phase 3

Concepts, Development, Further Research - this extensive section tested my own self-belief, and my own confidence in the future of this planet.

Working alongside the University of York, York Design Week and even Norwegian Climate Scientists, I found myself hugely inspired.

Phase 4

Being the project to complete my Master's, the final product came alongside a hefty proposal and critical report.

I created a proposal for York Design Week for a 2 week Environmental Special, and even sent the report to other Design Weeks in the UK!
